Dave Rose profile photo - Renaissance Ranch OgdenDave Rose has worked in the addiction recovery field since early 2004 as the Client Relations Director for the Renaissance Ranch Inpatient Treatment Center. In his role as Client Relations Director, he has gained significant experience in interventions, assessments using ASAM criteria, and working with clients to find funding options that work best for them and their budget. His passion for this work stems from his own experience with addiction and recovery both within himself and with family members and gives him the perspective of both the addict and of those that love them.
 

Scott A. Erickson, MD

Dave Rose profile photo - Renaissance Ranch Ogden Dr. Scott A. Erickson was born in Bountiful, Utah and is a graduate of the University of Utah. He obtained his medical degree at Saint Louis University in Missouri and then completed his Family Medicine residency at The Washington Hospital located in Washington, Pennsylvania. He is board certified and re-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has a special interest in Addiction Medicine.
 
In August 2005, Dr. Erickson returned to his home town of Bountiful, Utah and started his private medical practice where he continues to practice as a family physician. Early in his practice he began working with patients who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. In January 2008, he started an outpatient program, Utah Addiction Medicine & Counseling, where he offers outpatient addiction treatment.
 
Dr. Erickson has extensive experience in most all aspects of Addiction Medicine. This includes inpatient and outpatient detoxification/acute withdrawal management, medication-assisted treatment using Buprenorphine, Suboxone, Sublocade, Brixadi, Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Antabuse, and Campral. He has also served as the Medical Director for several residential treatment centers in the state of Utah.
 
Dr. Erickson served for ten years as the Medical Director for the New Vision Service at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. This hospital service offered inpatient acute withdrawal management for patients detoxing from opiates, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and stimulants. In July 2007, he was asked to be the Corporate Medical Director for the parent company of New Vision called Specialcare. He continues to serve in this position where he helps educate physicians and other medical providers at the different New Vision sites across the United States regarding inpatient acute withdrawal management.
 
Dr. Erickson thoroughly enjoys working as a family physician and especially with patients who suffer from addiction. Over the past 18 years, he has developed close relationships with his patients and has loved helping those that suffer from addiction find lasting solutions that have changed the course of their lives. Dr. Erickson currently resides in Bountiful, Utah with his wife. They have four children and three grandchildren. He enjoys most sports and outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
